Le 13 mars à Korça, comme vous le savez déjà s’est déroulé le concert de M. ERIC VINCENT. C’était à l’honneur du théâtre de la ville de Korça de lancer la saison du printemps francophone à Korça. Plus de 300 spectateurs ont assisté à ce concert d’ouverture du printemps francophone 2008. C’est un bon augure pour la première saison qui démarre. Elle est riche en manifestation, spectacle, activité culturelle et artistique, qui s’ajouteront en cours de cette saison. C’est un invité français qui fait l’ouverture, un des chanteurs très connu de musique traditionnelle française, Eric Vincent. Les spectateurs, des personnalités de la ville, le maire, le vice maire, le consul grec, des représentants des chaînes télévisées locales, des musiciens, historiens, archéologues, architectes, peintres, médecins, professeurs, enseignants, étudiants, et élèves de la section bilingue. Avec sa musique M. Vincent nous a amené aux quatre coins du monde, Haïti, Mexico, Afrique, Europe, France. Sa carrière et sa vie musicale très riche et très abondante nous ont fait connaître sa grande passion pour la musique, pour les gens, la nature, la vie et le travail. Il a eu une communication formidable avec le public et particulièrement avec les jeunes. Ses disques ont été vendus et achetés par une vingtaine de spectateurs.
Je profite de remercier l’Ambassade de France et particulièrement vous, Monsieur Doublier, de nous donner l’occasion d’accueillir à notre ville un chanteur de telle dimension.

j'avais 14 ans en 1978 , et éric Vincent était à bord du bateau le " marion dufresne" avec les réunionnais qui partaient en mission sur les iles Kerguelen et mon père faisait partie de l'équipe, il m'avait ramené une cassette d'éric Vincent et une photo de lui dédicacée, par exemple la chanson "sans famille" je m'en souviens très bien , "je suis fatigué , fatigué".Dommage qu'il n'a pas enregistré la chanson qu'il avait composé sur le "marion dufresne," car je ne la retrouve pas sur son cd, ca aurait fait plaisir à mon père. Thank you once again for the incredible music experience you brought us from October 16th - October 17th! The time went so fast and it now seems hard to believe it was all real but I must share with you that it was an incredible experience for our students. Their reactions after the concert were incredibly positive. I will try to send you some of their quotes to show you how they reacted to the concerts. While it was a lot of work for us to prepare the students for the concerts, I would do it again in a second if the opportunity ever presents itself for you to return to this area ! Thank you for sharing your warmth, excitement and love for life with my students. Yesterday night, I was invited by Alliance Francaise and Consul de France in Denpasar to attend the concert of a singer from France : ERIC VINCENT.. which was held in the hall of institute of art in Denpasar.
Eric sang more than 10 songs only with his guitar but he could hipnotyzed all the audience.. he is a real composer, singer and also entertainer...
Beautiful songs and beautiful performances by him, as well..

Cher Eric, thank you SO MUCH for your Norfolk/Alliance Francaise concert on Nov. 11. You have become my favorite French singer, and your CDs are now top of my piles, ahead of my Lavilliers and Mylene Farmer! On behalf of my students and the Alliance, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for sharing with us your immense talent and beautiful, sincere music, your joy to live, your trips around the world (which are so intensely present in your vibrant world music), your spontaneous kindness and humor, and your pure heart. Cher Eric, Je veux vous remercier pour votre concert à Ashland hier. C’était à la fois énergique, émouvant, comique et profond. vous ne nous donniez rien de blasé. Votre chaleur et passion pour la musique et la vie étaient évidents dans toutes les chansons. J’aimais aussi la façon que vous aviez d’engager le public à participer aux chansons et aux réponses. Mes élèves étaient ravis, et moi aussi. Il doit être difficile de voyager autant et de partager votre musique avec les gens que vous ne verrez jamais plus. I had the pleasure of experiencing your music Friday October 28 in Duluth at the University of Minnesota. After a mundane day at the office (I am a computer geek) and some good hard physical labor around my home, I got to relax and enjoy an extremely enjoyable concert by you. From the moment my wife and I arrived, I knew I belonged there. I enjoyed the evening, tried to sing along and purchased an album w/autograph. I listened at home the next morning and I keep the album in the car for commuting and then it's in my office when I need to relax and enjoy life. Yes, Everyone should go see Eric Vincent !
